Wow! What a game today. Everyone was on fire and put in place everything that was learnt at training. We made sure we stayed away from the sideline and ran through the middle. A few little sneaky tries from dummy half also showed great skill. Our defence was spot on, supporting each other and getting back in line with the ref. The rain poured down in the third quarter but that didn’t stop our enthusiasm as we continued to complete our sets and score some spectator tries.
Special shout out to Roman, Taj and Amiera who have consistently turned up every week and played their best.
We look forward to growing together as a team and thank our supporters who stood in the rain to cheer us on. Lapa 44, wombats 12
Panther of the Week: Leeton
Top Tackler: Noah
(Due to the rain, photo to come next week)

Cuz Cooke came on in the second half with some massive defence also scoring a try.
Man of the Match went to 3 of our players,
Logan Last who did what was asked of him today with some big hit ups, also making a lot of tackles.
Chase Stevens had another solid performancce, great individual runs with a lot of big one on one defence.

U11’s
The boys played their best footy today beating local rivals South Eastern 44-6. The boys seemed to step up another level this week with some great defence and some awesome attacking plays and ball movement across the park. Hopefully the boys can keep building as a team each week and keep improving!
U12’s
We turned up to a wet and cold Coogee Oval to play Newtown today. Newtown were short of players, so we matched their numbers to get a game. This meant at any time we had 7 players on the sideline. The boys showed what great mates they are, making sure Stacey got a try today- so no nudie run for him this year! Great win but even better great sportsmanship! Shot La Pa Lads.
